COA Centers Remain Closed, Meals on Wheels Delivery Continues
Following Governor Whitmer's order to stay in place and stay safe, the COA offices will remain closed, including Enrichment Centers in Sturgis and Three Rivers. All activities and programs will be canceled at both centers. We do not have a date as to when our centers will re-open, but as soon as we do we will announce it on the radio, on our Facebook page and here on our website.
The COA will continue to provide Meals on Wheels to homebound seniors once per week and will deliver a week's supply of food at that time. We are doing this to minimize contact between our drivers and our seniors. Our senior citizens are a population that are at higher risk for more severe outcomes from contracting the Coronavirus. Please monitor media sources for the most up to date information on the status of COA services or contact us at 269-279-8083. While our staff will not be in the office we will be checking messages and will get back to everyone who leaves a message as soon as possible. The COA also has a Facebook page - you can find us by typing in SJCCOA.
