The COA is Hiring!
We have several employment opportunities at the COA. If you enjoy working with seniors, please visit the St. Joseph County website by clicking HERE We are looking for a Chore Worker, Home Care Aides, Site Coordinators and Meals on Wheels Drivers. The COA is a great to work and it is rewarding to work in an environment that is dedicated to helping senior citizens stay healthy and independent. If the job you are looking for is not posted on the county website yet, please call the COA at 279-8083, or stop by either center in Three Rivers or Sturgis to pick up a job application.

COA Hosting Outdoor Concerts to Celebrate Older Americans Month
On Tuesday, May 11 the Portage Senior Center Band is putting on a free concert at 2:30 p.m. behind the Rivers Enrichment Center. All are welcome! Please bring your own chair.

On Friday, May 21, Honey Creek will be performing at the Sturgis Enrichment Center to celebrate Older Americans Month and the five-year anniversary of that building. That concert will begin at 5 p.m. and is free. Again, please bring your own chair. A picnic supper is available for COA members only. You must call the COA and reserve your dinner no later than Thursday, May 13.

More Exercise Classes to Begin at our Sturgis Center
The COA is excited to welcome Natalie Setterblad to our team. Natalie will be teaching a Fit After Sixty class on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 9 a.m. beginning Tuesday, May 4 at the Oaks Enrichment Center in Sturgis. If you would like to participate, please call the COA at 279-8083. Also beginning Tuesday, May 18 is Chair Yoga and Zumba Gold at the Oaks Enrichment Center. Kathy Bingaman is back and she can't wait to see everybody again. Please call the COA to sign up or for more information.
